Helsinki hosts Finland’s first Beach SAMBO festival
On 30 August, Sambo-2000 Ry held a festival at Aurinkolahti beach in Helsinki. The tournament featured 36 athletes aged 4–39, while family activities attracted around 50 additional participants.
The programme combined competition, introductory activities and demonstrations. Athletes with visual impairments also demonstrated Beach SAMBO, highlighting the inclusive nature of the event.
