Therapeutic Use Exemptions

If an athlete needs a prohibited substance or method for medical reasons, a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) must be obtained in advance. Applications are submitted to the National Anti-Doping Organisation or to the International Testing Agency (ITA), depending on the competition level. Consult the team doctor before starting treatment.
